Welcome to Week 25: Tour of Cape Cod – Y Week! Featuring: Yachts, Yankee, Ylang Ylang, Yonder, Yellow, Yarmouth, Yoga, Yarrow YACHTS Various types of boats including a small yacht or two at Sesuit Harbor on a sunny day in mid May. YANKEE The Yankee Doodle Shop in West Harwich, one of many local gift stores. This one's pretty unique and fun to browse because of its quaint, affordable Americana goods, furniture, and collectibles. YLANG YLANG A favorite essential oil fragrance .. beachy and floral … a mixture of Ylang Ylang, Geranium, Cedarwood and Vetiver. This is my most recent attempt at a still life. Once I noticed that the pearl is actually a bead with a hole drilled through it that needed to be rotated out of view, I was pretty happy with the result! YONDER From my spot at Corporation Beach I could see the SS Lobster Roll way over yonder. It's a lunch/dinner cruise with views, drinks, music, and of course their signature lobster rolls. YELLOW Pretty yellow spring flowers. Of all the locations I've called home during my lifetime, Cape Cod is tops for flowers. They're everywhere you look! I found these at the edge of the local grocery store's parking lot. YARMOUTH A beautiful Cape Cod town stretching north to south from its cool, calm beaches on Cape Cod Bay to its comparatively warm surf on Nantucket Sound. This is a June sunrise at Yarmouth's Wilbur Park. YOGA Meet “Yoga Frog”! Was it his adorable smile or his perfect Sukhasana that caught my eye in a department store 10 years ago? Probably both! He has been right at home on my etagere ever since.  YARROW I took this photo in mid May at Ellis Landing in Brewster. I'm not very good at identifying plants but I'm pretty sure this is Yarrow. Oh Pearls you have some awesome photos today for the letter "Y". You always seem to catch your photos at the right angle. Of course the yoga frog is my favorite as I am a big fan of frogs.

Lovely, as usual, Pearls. I especially liked the pier, although I thought it was a sunset until I read that it was a sunrise. Either way, it's so peaceful looking. It's been a strange week here, and I drew a blank for the Y. I'll try to get into the swing of it with a Z, but I'm not holding my breath. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Very imaginative "Y" collection, Pearls, brilliant. I would love to browse around that lovely yankee doodle shop.  I really love the cute yoga frog.

Beautiful Y selection Pearls . The magnificent sunrise has a tropical feel - how beautiful being enveloped by its rich, warm colours. Lol, how cool is yoga frog - ommm.

Y WHERE I LIVE WOULD BE YACHTS. WE HAVE THE BIGGEST HARBOR FOR TONNAGE IN EUROPE ALTHOUGH NOT FOR THE NUMBER OF BOATS. WHERE I WAS IN CAMARGUE, PORT CARMARGUE HAS MOORINGS FOR 5 OOO BOATS, A SOMEWHAT OVERWHELMING NUMBER.
