Funny how...

Funny how, when a smile would seem
To waken the fantasy within the mind
The sensuous lips of illusions’ dream
Which starts a heart on a loving find

Funny how, when eyes start shine
In a focused look of a heart’s intent
How that sparkle is reflected in mine
And hard the bond of love cement

Funny how, when words are put pen
And between the lines are the verses read
That jolt of sudden understanding and then
The realisation that no more need be said

Funny how, thought’s train can linger
At the quiet station of a pictured face
outline the beauty with gentlest finger
And keep the smile within heart’s place

Funny how, without reason discover
That a precious smile is a racing start
move a love from one for another
The smile which starts a fire in the heart.

A most fascinating subject, but only things like music, art, poetry and Dreams can explain it. Hallo Rocket...

Yes, it's funny how that works. I remember asking my mother "what is love?" and she said she couldn't explain it, but I would know it when it happened.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Ah... Wise Mother...Wise Mrs. Joe. My Mother's answer to any questions was...Run down to the Pub and get me ten fags!... (Fags=Cigarettes.)

Trust in dreams, for in them is hidden the gate to eternity.(Khalil Gibran)

Difficult to explain for sure. When I was a child I was often sent to the shops for ten fags and the paper, and I got a whole penny all for myself. Happy days.
