Ha Caroline....it depends on the person. I had my cataracts removed in 2019 and up until this year I was with no glasses. In October that changed and I had to get reading glasses. I mainly wear them when I read before nodding off in bed. It does make a difference. I had worn glasses/contacts since I was the age of 12 or 13. It was so nice after my cataract surgery not to have to wear glasses.

NO, THAT IS NOT THE WAY IT IS SUPPOSED TO BE DONE. JUST GET UP AND OUT AND SEE THE OPTICIAN AND GET AN ESTIMATE ON THE COST OF TRIFOCALS. THEY ARE NOT JUST FOR READING, THE TOP FOCAL IS FOR DISTANCE AND IF YOU STILL DRIVE, YOU NEED THEM. ALSO, IT IS SORT OF "BE NICE TO HANK WEEK". SIMPLE ENOUGH TO JUST PLAIN ABSTAIN FROM COMMENTS, HIS OPINIONS ARE WHAT THEY ARE AND THERE IS NOTHING WE CAN SAY OR DO TO CHANGE THEM SO WHY GET UPSET? ZEN IS THE NAME OF THE GAME.

No, not yet, but I'm positive I'll have to after I have eye surgery for my cataracts.

I've had driving glasses for quite a while for distance, but in more recent years I got readers so I'm not squinting. Books I read w/o readers, it's the teeny tiny print I now have trouble with. Arms aren't long enough, not enough light....I'm sure many know how it goes

i started wearing glasses in summer 2018 my eye doctor gave me ones to see far away cant see so i need to go back to see him again next month i just got my new pair the ones to see far away in September this year by the way nice seeing you on here left this site after afew months years ago since FF died years ago and also see you have that same picture posted lol happy new year to you The Cuteman Here
