 I know it is our age group, but so many have already left this earth behind.
It's sad for those of us still here and missing our friends.
Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

He wasn't really our age. I told him the people on SFF were wonderful. He was only in his 30's. He had great stories and great recipes. Cancer has taken so many of my loved ones. My comment was meant for the many named one. I don't need to see what she has to say about Darter.

 I Miss Darter so much I keep thinking that he is still with us and will post one of his great food blogs or one of his Martha Stewart creations at least he is no longer in pain damm cancer it has taken so many of my friends

I knew he was somewhat younger, but didn't realize it was that much younger. But cancer is no respecter of age. It took my little brother when he was in his 30 also.

 Children too ! We used to get kids that a last wish was to go to Toys R Us. I used to do some greetings over intercom when there was a special occasion happening. When they got to the middle of the store, we gave the little girl gifts. I was an emotional mess. It is the worst, losing a child so young to cancer. I realize how blessed we all r ! Also, when I moved to NC there was a day on the radio that they were having a telethon for the children hospital on. Well, here I am driving and the girl from the radio said they went around meeting the kids. One little boy they saw and decided to go back the next day. Well, his parents were outside of his room when they got there, and he had just passed away. Well, my car ride home from work was so emotional. I gave my last 10$ to the telethon. (Brenner's Chidrens Hospital). I hate cancer so much !
