Most of you know of my cat; Pumpkin.



This morning Pumpkin left me a special ; offering.... a deceased mouse by the door where I couldn't miss it.

 I took the garbage out along with Pumpkin's offering and burned the trash. We have an excellent chance for rain the next 3 days. I am doing ok just my days are like I am car sick without warning.

 That was his gift to you. Aren't cats so sweet to leave food for the people they love?

He is actually a very good well mannered cat. He keeps the pantry free of rodents and doesn't make a mess of his liter box.

 I keep finding mouse/bird/squirrel carcases around and I'm nostalgic for the days when cats actually ate their kills ...they are allegories of modern society..

One time a bat got into the house... it was a laugh to watch a fat rottweiler leaping into the air chasing the bat around.

 Good boy Pumpkin, doing your job well. I was looking out my kitchen window yesterday morning. Our neighbours cat Mogwai, was going mad trying to get at birds in a nearby tree. I was delighted he didn't succeed in catching any.

Rosie our Greyhound HATES birds in her pen and runs them all out when she is around. Rosie also likes to "play" with any stripped gopher silly enough to enter her pen. She plays till they quit going "EEEK"
