DRY See that red arrow.... That's where the major leak occurred. I used pipe tread paste and tightened down hose clamps AFTER removing the tags! Test run of dishwasher............ Working fine so far.... NO LEAKS..... |

Two days.... maybe three days worth of dirty dishes to get cleaned....I'll keep the dishwasher running. Heavy clouds, windy .... 32 F ... 0 C here.. not exactly a nice day outside but have stuff to haul out to the shed. Grilled Cheese sandwiches dipped into tomato soup has to be one of the best food items ever invented....

So glad you were able to find the leak in the dishwasher and repair it yourself at basically no cost. I enjoy fixing malfunctioning and broken things. I have only once owned a dishwasher. I used it once only, and decided it was much easier and faster to do the dishes by hand in the sink.

It is a gloomy, 8F (-13C) , chilly NW wind, here in southern Alberta. I walked to the post office this morning wearing a down parka and really noticed the wind chill. I am finished lunch and am now going to walk the dog. Another way to freeze me, but at least it keeps me active.

Good to see you got it fixed, but why let the dishes accumulate for 3 days? I have a dishwasher, but haven't used it since I bought this place. No matter what I tried, the dishes always looked spotted. I wash everything by hand now and have for over three decades.

Well done on fixing the leak. I never bothered with a dishwasher no time for them at all.
