The President's response was heart-warming. No, he did not call for a complete gun ban, and it won't happen. The young man that murdered those children was unstable and no one listened, even after being notified not once, but several times.

“The further a society drifts from the truth, the more it will hate those that speak it.”

It would be folly for politicians to dismiss the voices of these young people.

They are forever changed. Proms and parties are no longer on their agenda. Their innocence has been ripped from them.

What a mess~~

I'm so proud of them......watching and listening, I weep and cheer simultaneously.......they are showing the adults how it's done........

I'm hoping the whole thing will snowball and they will have the strongest support possible, of the whole country. Which is what all of our young people deserve... they are, after all, the future. It's the least they deserve!

They are truly to be commended. I hope their voices will be heard.

Yes, ET, it was inspiring to hear how those young people had to say. Being a victim in a shooting changes one's point of view, doesn't it?

Those young students are so brave, confident, and so eloquent to say what they're saying. One Congressman on the news spoke up and said that the U.S. will regret the day Trump was born. Wow, finally people are speaking up.
