Granted she has a stressful job standing up there spreading Trump's propaganda and hateful message to the press, but she is extremely rude. Recently at a press conference on live t.v. she made a rude personal insult to a CNN journalist insulting his intelligence and comprehension. The entire Trump administration and the Trump family are just a bunch of sheep too afraid to stand up to the boss. They sit there and say nothing as he systematically destroys every single thing his predecessors worked so hard to attain. He is isolating the U.S. and has made enemies of so many world leaders and allies and now he's going to be meeting with Putin????

Are you kidding?!!! You seem to think all who disagree with you should be treated like that, all day, every day!!!

And you say you don't hate anyone! That's what's sick!

Block , all the gay couple wanted to do was buy a cake and here's what you had to say about that :

"I think any business has the right to refuse service to anyone".

The quote is directly from YOUR blog.

T?he debate is about Civil Rights.....the rights of Gay people to be treated equally and the rights of brown people to be treated equally......for families not to be separated......Trump and his sycophants lied repeatedly, Sessions, Nielson and Sanders stood before the world and lied their faces off........about torturing children......like good little minions........They and Trump contradicted themselves repeatedly........and pretended they didn't.....People tend to get angry and frustrated when they are lied to..........That's why they were asked to leave.....to let them know that the people knew they were lying and would not tolerate the lying and the torture.

I don't care who you are ...'you are judged by the company you keep'! The shoe fits but I imagine that it feels a might tight at times.

If all the gay couple wanted was to buy a cake, the baker would have sold it to them, as they had in the past. This time it was more than just a cake, it was a personal participation of a religious ceremony of which the baker was religiously opposed. Quite a different scenario.

Ms.Joe, Block's own words from his blog are … "I think any business has the right to refuse service to anyone". HE said it not me.

And you couldn't be more wrong about the baker. The baker wasn't asked to participate in the "religious ceremony" anymore than a pizza delivery boy or a parking lot attendant participates in the events they service.

It was a great win for bigots … the big loser is the American Flag

Dusty, you have done wedding cake bakers a great dis-service by comparing them to the pizza delivery boy or parking lot attendant.
The person who CREATES the wedding cake and the floral arrangements are very much a part of the ceremony. They are creating a one of a kind "masterpiece" to reflect the occasion and they pour themselves into it. They also have to go to the church or wherever the ceremony is being held to do the assembling of their crafts. The baker of the cake is often on hand until the last minute to be sure all is just perfect, and occasionally is also invited to stay as a guest at the reception.
It is one thing to bake a cake or make a floral arrangement for someone, quite something else to do the floral arrangements or cakes for an occasion such as a wedding.

JW, no I was not assuming that the baker was required to attend or that he was even invited. But the baker is required to tailor make the cake to reflect the occasion, and to be onsite to assemble it and make sure everything is just the way it should be. It is a work of art and a matter of professional pride and they are often there, right up until the last minute to assure that it remains so.
Living in a very rural area, where people know the professionals who do these things, they are sometimes invited to remain and join in the festivities.

Big hairy deal!.......Everyone knows that there are many different belief systems......When you go into business, it's a given that you will be asked to bake a cake for someone with a different set of beliefs.....How naive can you get...LOL....Just in Christianity, there over 2000 denominations........I have sold hundreds of artistic creations as have millions of other artists and craftsmen.....yet I have never heard of anyone inquiring about the religious beliefs of buyers. I know many custom jewellers, for instance who make custom wedding rings.....never have I heard of any of them refusing to make rings for gay couples........What incredible ego-maniacs an artist would have to be to think that someone else's wedding was about him........How selfish and self-righteous.....

Lulu, yes there are. But knowing how one feels about his own beliefs and his art form, whether it be a wedding cake or the floral arrangements for a wedding, I would wonder why someone would even push the issue? What if the baker had been a devout Muslim? Or devout Jew? Why single out Christianity?
Down deep, I suspicion that it was done by the gay couple more for the publicity.

MrsJoe, Christians have love in their heart not hate. Christians understand the New Testament and the "new commandment" .

We all know it including the Supreme Court Justices .. Jack Philips wasn't required to CELEBRATE anything. He could have delivered the cake and said good day.

I understand the Sean Hannity spin on the story, here's mine … Phillips just didn't want to bake the cake because he doesn't like the ruling on gay marriage. When he found himself in some hot water he played the God card. Simple as that .. and it bothers me because I'm a Christian.
