I ENJOY PUZZLES BUT DON'T HAVE THE SPACE TO DO THEM. I DO THE ARROW AND CROSSWORD PUZZLES IN THE PAPER AND MAGAZINES THOUGH.

Haven't done one for years, although I sometimes think about starting one. I should probably get one of those big piece ones for 2-3 year olds and start slow.

I'm not the type of relaxed person who can just sit there quietly and watch t.v. I have to be doing something to get my mind to relax when I watch t.v Sometimes I do marathon Crosswords or Word Find puzzles and there are days when I do about 70 puzzles in one day. They really help me to relax. I don't have the patience to do Jigsaw puzzles.

I do Sudoku, crosswords and jigsaw puzzles online. No missing pieces or erasures that way! The jigsaws site allows you to decide on the number of pieces and if you want to have to position/turn them or have them "ready to go".

I don't do jig saw puzzles but I do crosswords all the time in magazines and on a game site. I think it is a good thing to do puzzles of any sort as seniors we need to keep our brains active. My sister and I do scrabble on Bug Cafe. We are also able to send messages back and forth after we have completed our turn. So it keeps us connected.

    Quoting  :

We always had either a puzzle or hooked rug kit on the dining room table....we mostly ate in the breakfast nook.......A lot of good conversation was had while hooking or puzzling......Our friends liked it too, everyone felt welcome at our house, which was usually great, especially when they were my brother's cute friends.....but it did become a problem when I split up with a boy and he still kept coming over to our house to hang with my family......first time was awkward, but I learned to like it.

I think it was in my forties that I did the last puzzle. It was 30 inches long, more or less. An Autumn landscape that almost made me crazy. I remember it stayed on the dinner table for a month. Every time I came back from work I put together a small part. One of my brothers used to help me searching some pieces. Once finished, it was framed and placed in the dining room. Good memories!
