My Trump supporting was booted out of Alfredos.

MMy sons are opposite of each other. Joshua is a married techno Yuppie while Billy is an unmarried West Virginia hillbilly. They are also on the opposite ends of the political spectrum although I suspect that Billy really doesn't have the interest to follow politics.

Joshua monitors pipelines while Billy drives trucks and sets up concession stands for a living. Whenever Billy is in town, we go out to dinner. I have to laugh because Billy is always critiquing my driving when he was doing last night. We stopped at the local Alfredo's. He quickly corrected my parking and waited outside to smoke a cigarette while I went in ahead of him.

The waitress advised me that the restaurant was getting ready to close. "Oh No! It's that cute Billy M. outside!" "No problem, we'll go to Applebee's. I will just tell him that we got booted out because he's a Trump supporter."

I stepped outside and advised him that we are experience a Red Hen/ Sarah Huckabee scenerio. The expression on my 's face was hilarious. "You're kidding, in this town that shouldn't be happening!"

The waitress ran out to "Mr. Cutie" telling Billy that his mom was only kidding but if he really wanted something to eat...………….. We drove into Lewisburg to Applebee's where they didn't discuss politics. I am not am Orange POTUS fan but I have no intentions of unfriending my . I love him unconditionally.

That is definitely Billy. He is shy but the girls do seem to go gaga over him.

Your son is a nice looking young man. We should be able to accept and relate to everyone with different views on life the same way, but it isn't possible anymore.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Thanks for this funny and lovable story. I don't think anyone would unfriend their child because they have a different point of view.

I had an Uncle who got very angry with me when I told him that I had voted for Ronald Reagan. He was a man who voted along party lines and I vote my conscience.......he told everyone in the family what I had done..........lol. He loved me dearly but he always talked about that before he died.

Star you have a very handsome son. He is brave to hold that alligator. Big kudos to him for standing up to what he believes in.
