Sometimes it takes a Village to Share the Joy I was given a puzzle for my Solar Return last year. It sat on a shelve for that entire year. Last year, I moved into a Senior Community in a building with about one hundred neighbors. There is a library when folks also play dominoes and put together puzzles. A few weeks ago, I decided to place the puzzle to the liberty's pile of puzzles with plans to work on it later. I headed to the liberty for dominoes and noted that someone started on the puzzle. I worked on it a bit and the next time I was in the library, someone else had worked it on it a bit more until it was finally completed. My joy was being able to share the joy. I noted that the same company also has puzzles for the Women's March in Washington D.C. It actually was nationwide. I participated in the March. There is also one for the Climate Change March which I also attended. I was fortunate enough to go to the one in Washington DC but it was also national. I love being part of history. |

In the winter, my in laws would always have a puzzle on the library table. Just about everyone who visited stopped to add a piece or two, or more. It sounds like your activity area helps get folks out of their own little four walls to enjoy the company of others. It allows a person to engage or not to engage, as they chose. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I am not a big jigsaw puzzle person. My oldest brother and his wife have done hundreds of them, I actually do jig saws on a game site that I belong to. I think they are god for your brain.
