Hi traveler,

No, this is a Rain Tree. I have found out that the other one is the Cannonball Tree.

Hi sw,

Hmm, now that you mention it, having breakfast in the shade of the rain tree while the little fella is having his upstairs does seem a wonderful idea. Thank you.

Hi Rose,

That's the spectacled leaf monkey; the one with the long tail, do you remember?

Hi Poet,

I am sure you must have seen these big trees with the canopy shaped like an umbrella usually planted along the roads or lakes to provide shade (and shelter from the rain?). They are also known as the monkey pod tree and now I know why.

Hi Roxy,

Thank you. Perhaps you can post photos of your trees especially that Asian Pear.

Hi Lee. The first thing I do every Friday here at SFF, is to look for your "Friday bouquet". Beautiful Rain Tree. I don't know if we have this here. Thanks for sharing.

Hi GLUMO,

Thank you. I think your country should have it. It is also known as the Monkey Pod.

Hi Poet,

I don't know but I don't think so. The leaves and flowers are different.
