Friday's Bouquet - Keppel Bay

The cruise liner, Virgo, is being pulled by the tugboat into the harbor at Keppel Bay. In the forefront are the yellow and orange Bird of Paradise flowers and the violet flowers behind them is the Bougainvillea. The island to the right is Sentosa Island and in the sky, are the tiny cable cars that link the island to Singapore.

Really nice. We have bird of paradise here as well but they are larger and darker in color. Yours are brighter and the plant is much more delicate.

Hi Lee: What a paradise that place must be. How interesting to travel to an island by cable car.

Beautiful. Now I know Singapore is the same climate as Los Angeles, California as we had those same flowers in my parents yard. No cruise ships or sky lifts tho!

I appreciate your sending these photos, I doubt I willever get there, and ejoy learning more about different places.

Lovely Lee. We only see Bird of Paradise in a florist shop...and then only a single bloom...How wonderful it would be to see so many. Thankyou..(morgana..got rid of that bad name)

Hi bijou,

Singapore is quite a place but the photos only show a small part of it. Likewise, I have found some countries that I have visited to be a paradise. Sentosa Island is linked to Singapore by bridge too. We can drive or walk across.

Hi beepbeep,

Thank you. I am sure Los Angeles is very beautiful too. I don't think I will get to visit America too and I have enjoyed the photos of the different parts of America and other countries posted here too.

Hi Rose,

Thank you. Your plant must be a potted one. Bougainvilleas can grow to a very large size.

Hi kay,

Thank you. Well, I don't get to see your flowers like the tulip, crocus and the blue bell either unless someone post them here.
