Gingko trees The recent photo show of fall colours got me digging into my albums and I retrieved this photo of a quiet street in Kyoto, Japan. I found these gingko trees striking. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past |

Wonderful, I had not realized that there were the vibrant FAll colors in that area. Of ocurse it is on the same latitude as Seattle, and the New England states that we are familiar with, so it only makes sense. Thank you for expanding our knowledge in such a beautiful manner.

Hi Lee: What a beautiful pic and love those huge trees. I have seen pills in the health food store containing Gingko. I wonder what it is supposed to be good for?

Hi 1750, Thank you. One tree seems to turn yellow faster than the other which is what caught my attention. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Like beachgirl I have only seen small potted ones. Thanks for sharing. It was in Japan that I saw my very first gingko trees. I only realize that they were gingkos when I saw the bilobate leaves. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi Lee: What a beautiful pic and love those huge trees. I have seen pills in the health food store containing Gingko. I wonder what it is supposed to be good for? Thank you. To us, it is good for health. We make a broth of it with barley and bean curd (fu chuk) but I don't know what it is good for.
