Beautiful pictures Lee! "The only way to have a friend is to be one."

I like all the shots Lee, if I had to guess, I would say the second picture is the female bird. I don't have a reason, I just think it is! Alfie...

I had never seen these clouds until I moved to Georgia. We see them occasionally. They fascinate me. Usually male birds are more colorful so I would guess the top one is male.

Beautiful cumulus clouds, Lee. Once in awhile I have seen something like that in our sky. I guess the female is the light colored bird... What a neat sky!

Hi MsEd, Thank you. I have seen these clouds before but from afar and not directly overhead and not so low. I agree that bird number 2 is the female although I missed the pink in the wing. The two were actually a couple because they were sitting on the same cable but not close together. Maybe they just had a row. Hi traveler, Ha,ha. Thank you. Sorry about the confusion. This is the first time I have posted more than one photo and something must have gone wrong somewhere. Hmm, I wonder if there are male and female clouds. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

I like all the shots Lee, if I had to guess, I would say the second picture is the female bird. I don't have a reason, I just think it is! Alfie... Thank you, Haw. I agree the second is the female because it is more curvaceous and as pointed out by MsEd, there is a touch of pink. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Hi Abelle, I see these kind of clouds occasionally in Malaysia too but they are usually high up and far away. In the bird world, the male is always more colorful - look at the ducks and the cock and hen. However, in the human world, it is the female who is more beautiful.
