Great looking stairway and porch, Lee. Where is it?

Alfie...

It only takes a drop of ink to make a million people think. There are many stories.

Hi Roxy,

I noticed a couple of petunias in the porch. I will be home today and have a happy Holidays.

No, Roses,

This is a house down the street from my daughter's house. The plants and railings attracted me too.

Hi Hawk,

I like the stairway and porch too. The house is in Brisbane.

Hi sw,

I agree. It is a simple house but the colours make it stand out.

Hi Poet,

Now that you mention it, the railing, flower pots and stilts do resemble a Malay kampong house and I do not think it is a coincidence. There is an area near Brisbane known as Bukit Merah ( if I remember correctly ) and the aborigines in Australia cook their food with a shrimp paste known as belachan which looks the same as our belachan!
