Photo Monday I am so excited! I have made a very important discovery! As I was passing by a house the other day, I spotted a bird which looked like a seagull with a comb over. At first, I was puzzled. Then I realised that like the bald eagle, the little bird must be bald! I was thrilled with my find because this is the first ever discovery of a bird with a comb over! All the bald birds so far have never worn a comb over! I have submitted my finding to the International Academy of Science and I am so excited, I decided to share my discovery with you guys. Soon I am going to be famous! Who knows? I may even win the Nobel Prize for Science! Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past |

That is a different critter. Maybe someone knitted him a cap. Spiritwoman ^i^

It's an Aussie plover, very common here. They lay their eggs in fields and flat areas, even on the rooves of large flat buildings. Chicks usually dont survive on the rooves as learning to fly they fall off and die, bit of a problem. They also have spurs on the wings. Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

This can't be! Are you sure, Kittycat? Are you absolutely certain that there are other birds sporting comb overs? Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

So, is it a TRUMPeter or a Pullover? Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Did you say plovers are shore birds, lulu? Then this cannot be a plover. What a relief! Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Me? Pulling people's legs? No way! I am always serious and that was a life one. In fact, there were two of them but I failed to shoot the other one (and it was sporting what looks like a pony tail). Do you know that Taiping is the wettest town in West Malaysia? And, it does not just rain; it pours. Trees blown down by the wind is commonplace. But we have a good drainage system which is why it does not flood. The only time flooding occured was about 60 years ago. Our water is clear and clean and flows from the hills but some still install filters. However, the population is booming and last year, for the first time ever, we had water rationing! Not a good sign. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

A toupee, Roses? But, but where would it get a toupee from? I mean I have been to the shops and they do not sell such small toupees. Ah, I get it. It must have bought the toupee from Toys r us. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Thank you, MsEd. Yes, it does look sad. I have been told that the bird has spurs on its wings to use against those who laugh at him. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past

Yes, Poet. I especially have a weakness for dancing birds and if they write poetry, that is even better. Fame will never get to my head and I will be here till the end of time. Lee Live today as if it is your last For tomorrow will soon be in the past
