Yes, we still need to 'bump', but even that can seem extraneous sometimes. Take it either way.. just trying to be light. An important thing is not to have to go at it alone. Even in a crowd. Sometimes we go through things no one else sees, and is nice to be able to talk to someone about it without them reacting. Besides actively listening. I hope reaching out makes you feel better and I know a lot of people here care, even with our diferences

Joannita, I am so sorry to hear of this. Might I suggest looking up Dr. Mark Hyman:
'How to Stop Attacking Yourself: 9 Steps to Heal Autoimmune Disease'. I read this not long ago due to a friend's suggestion when I was referring to a relative's condition.

Even with explanations, nobody can truly understand, because it is impossible to truly walk in another person's shoes...... and each of our reactions to the same situations and symptoms are different. We have to learn that and understand that not many will understand what we go through when we have those problems.
But, it is often helpful to vent about it sometimes. I can understand the coming to a realization of having to turn loose of things and activities. I remember how hard it was for me to give up my nurse's license. I put it on "inactive" for many years, but finally just did not renew it because I faced the fact that I would never work as a nurse again. Just one of the things that meant a lot to mean, but others might just pooh-pooh and not understand.
Hang in there,,,,,,, one day at a time. Do what you can do, and enjoy every day to the fullest possible.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Joannita, your story made me sad. You seem to be a courageous lady! Please continue to have faith in yourself. Do remember please that time goes by when we are busy!

Joannita, I can well understand how sad you must be feeling after parting with all your treasured possessions.I know how hard it is to let go. I suffer from arthritis in my hip and knee. It can be very painful at times. After reading about all the terrible pain you have to endure, makes me realise how fortunate I am. I can still do most normal things and I have plenty of energy. You sound like a very strong and positive lady. Sending good wishes your way.
