A minor success

I am an excellent cook. I know that because I truly enjoy the results of my cooking, and not just tolerate it because I am hungry.
And yesterday, as I partial way of being nice to me, I made a pie.
The one thing I am not is a baker. But this was going to be a special pie, because I had gotten on in California, and I wanted to know if I could replicate it.
It is a rhubarb pie, and yes there are no strawberries. It has a unigue taste all its own.
I did a pretty good job, if I do say so myself.

Good enough that I ate a quarter of it for supper.
I made myself a chicken pizza with that Boboli pizza shell. That was a success as well. I am sorry I do not have a picture of that. I had it consumed before I even thought of taking its picture.

David

God Bless each and every one of you.

....Yes I remember those without the strawberries. They were darn good as I recall. Dont see much rhubarb anymore.
