Why is it so hard to become friends in the CHAT ROOMS I have tried several times to start with a talk or something in the chat rooms and it seems never to make the friends with many, can someone tell me the reason, what Im doing wrong? |

noondelight ....You are not doing anything wrong. Everyone is so engrossed in their own conversations, they miss a lot. It usually moves pretty fast. Don't take it personal. Our new neighbors often get the same treatment. If I see you in there, I'll talk to you!

Scooter, I don't think your doing anything wrong the chat rooms unless they are unusually slow are not very conducive to actually having a friendly conversation as they are so fast paced and so much going on at once, I can barely keep up and often times piss posts directed to me from others and once I lose that I'm usually just left in the background somewhere unless I just keep posting and even then sometimes I am ignored LOL

You are expecting to much to soon. Don't get in a hurry and don't take the fact you are not accepted right off the bat personally.

hi there not everyone is like that If yer in the lobby and I'm there I'll chat... I chat to everyone but having said that when I first joined their were a few funnies with me just ignor them... fondest kels

I have only been in the chat rooms once and talked to a lady from Vegas this morning, she didn't even bother to say she was leaving. It was a friendly conversation about where we lived etc. At least I would of told the other party I had to leave. you can always e-mail me and get to know each other. Always Honesty the best policy. And Shame on the rude Dudes, and Dames that wouldn't show some respect.

I am in the chat rooms quite often. Yes others do ignore new people, but when I am there I always talk to everyone. I feel we are in there to make new friends. I have friends that I talk with in chat, but I try to never leave anyone out. Try again, there are different people in chat each night.
