Our Ambassador to Israel First, I want to say I have a great respect for the people of Israel. Their way of handling the Palestine situation is admirable. America, in that situation, would not be so admirable. The fact is America would not be so admirable in that situation, and that gives me pause with Trump choice for ambassador. I believe America has had an effect on Israel. to some extent, controlling their Right to go off the handle. Netanyahu, is not a liberal pussy. He epitomizes, to me, a proper view of Conservatism. "In an op-ed Friday in Israel’s Haaretz newspaper, its U.S. editor Chemi Shalev argued that Friedman “makes Netanyahu seem like a left-wing defeatist.” (Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s office had yet to comment on Trump’s pick.)" Netanyahu, primary opposition is the far far right, of Israel. Which has endorsed our nomination, David Friedman Trump's nomination of David Friedman as ambassador has some interesting facts. First, he is an attorney, who has represented Trump in his bankruptcies. Second, Is his attachment to Israel, it's over the top for an American. He own Israeli property, He is pro- Israel, as one could possibly be. He is against a Palestine State. He is for Israel taking over additional territory for expansion. His outward justification, is terrorism. However there is no doubt, his mindset is right wing American. No doubt he thinks like an American. I try and figure out what an ambassador does? Is he there to Support Israel interests, or look after the interest of America as it relates to Israel? is what's good for Israel automatically good for America. Do the Israel people get to decide what 's good for America? |

Absolute horsepucky. I do not respect the war criminals the Israeli government has produced, their arrogant belief that the United States owes them billions of dollars when they spy on us, constantly sandbag American politicians and blatantly steal land that isn't theirs. God did not promise to restore land they squandered if they chose to be disobedient. Somehow they've managed to cover up that truth. This is an aggressor nation that values a buck more than they value human dignity. It's about time the people rose up and ditched their corrupt government. It's one of the world's most dysfunctional democratic governments. They are their own worst enemies, and their nationalist policy is offensive. But my opinion is you are WRONG. I once saw on the news were Israeli tanks were coming down the road of an occupied village. People in the streets throwing rocks and bottles at them. the Israeli did nothing but drive on Maybe to you there is no difference between terrorism and war. I don't know. but to me there is. maybe you believe that the "oppressed" don't have to play by the rules because they are "oppressed" I'm just kind of one of those that believe the rules are played at the lowest common denominator Do I know where you stand. well, obviously you have stated it... but it's not enough for me Is your hatred.. of those in power, or love for the oppressed. Is your rational racially motivated, religious motivated, or just narrow-minded. Do you have empathy for Israeli's? or do the powerful need no empathy? You have an extremist point of view of this. I think you should be the ambassador to Palistine!

Interesting blog, Jiminy. I don't see the need to add anything to Lisztomania's explanation. But I do have a question for you. If you think David Friedman was the wrong choice because he is pro-Israel and supports their political leaders, then consider this: Would Barack Obama have been a better choice? Look at his credentials and tell me that he, a pro-Palestinian, anti-Netanyahu, Muslim sympathizing, enemy of Israel would have been a better selection for the position? Fossil The opposite doesn't make it true. Much like my view of the Supreme Court, bias should be left out of it. From the stand point of an Ambassador, my preference would be someone who is overall impartial towards Israel, yet with specific understanding may be supportive or not supportive. I don't want any of this preordained crap.

I might add that an Israeli tank ran over and killed an American woman who was wearing an orange vest and using a bullhorn and to this day they have refused to apologize for the brutal murder. Frankly, I don't think you've given the whole mess of the place must historical study. If you have you haven't expressed it to my knowledge, so I did some of it for you. Have a nice Christmas and may the peace of living water fulfill you always.

Hi Cricket. I'm not wrong and you know it and you didn't think anybody had the guts to tell you the truth here, and I just did. There's an old saying.... Your truth can tie you in knots, and strangle you, before it sets you free. Guts,! Guts! are you shit'n me. You want to know what I think? i have always thought it takes guts for the Right to say to what they say, in spite of everything.. Is that the kind of guts you got? Naww...I just tell it like it is because of the incredible ignorance regarding the Israeli government over the past 50 years. This is a nation who has constantly violated international law, violated treaties, assassinated their own leader, actually started the 1967 war, has committed unspeakable crimes against humanity, stolen land from citizens, lied repeatedly to American presidents of both parties and they have dissolved their own government countless times because they cannot get along. Their nationalist policy discriminates and even Begin, who cut a deal with Sadat was a terrorist, actually bombing a hotel himself. He started the land theft of settlements. Sharon occupied Lebanon for 18 years before realizing he had made a mistake and he committed war crimes in the process. That government, specifically Netanyahu, is a blatant liar. There is a reason Israel has isolated itself in the international community to the degree it has. They have been bad faith negotiators for decades. They are their own worst enemy and they have indirectly cost the United States billions of dollars and a lot of blood on top of it. So before you make blanket statements its important here to grasp what you are defending. Give the Palestinians a homeland and a lot of the hate will disappear. Isn't that better than blood and greed for real estate? You know all this, you think all this, or are you reguritating some web site The reason I ask, is because I ask the other side the same question. You statements are blatantly biased and the actual truth is hidden somewhere underneath, Your perception of the actual truth is hateful, and prejudice. The truth is in Israel's existence. The fact is this... with your truth Israel would not exist. You don't want Israel to correct what they do, you want them destroyed for you think they do. You do exactly what you accuse them of doing I would love to hear from those you consider, to agree with you. Or are you just a lone wolf on this one.
