Karin, actually I hate attending those things too but I know at times, it becomes a necessity (family etc). Happy you enjoyed yours... very different & sounds like fun!

Karin that is so funny. I have gone to so many baby showers and bridal showers in my day. I always said why dont they have showers for single ladies like myself. They would just look at me like that was the most unheard thing. Well I was just trying to get my point across. Although I must say this shower you went to was really quite different and a little more stimulating then playing all those cutesie games.

I hate traditional showers as well but this one sounded like something I could go for. Great you had a good time. Spiritwoman ^i^

Over the years most bridal showers have gotten better thanks to wine and cheese. This shower sounded like a lot of fun! With both being doctors I hope that was not an xray of the baby the daddy to be is holding!!

Traditional baby/wedding showers are boring and predictable. I think your friends' idea is the way to go!
