Meeting Destiny Had a wonderful visit with Destiny yesterday. We planned for coffee and spent the entire day talking and talking right through a great Chinese dinner. We found much to to share and so enjoyed each other's company. Chuck even managed to survive our gab fest Destiny seems to be doing well and was amazingly energetic and up beat. Amazing lady. I will be looking forward to a repeat visit next time I am back here in MA.  Tomorrow I am off to NYC to see the city for a first time in 30 years or more and a Rockett's show at Radio City Music Hall. Spiritwoman ^i^ |

I'm absolutely delighted to see this post and the picture, which I will save. There is something special for me in seeing pictures of fellow SFFer's in each other's homes or other locations not related to a bash gathering because they are, by and large, more intimate. I love the Bash pictures too but non bash pictures are my favourites because I know that, as is often the case at bashes, they weren't just posed for and then immediately after, each member going their separate way. Destiny sure has proven to be a fighter and I'm further delighted to read your appraisal of her condition and personality. I wish you well for the rest of your trip and hope there are no emergencies like my wife and I often encounter when we travel afar. I was in NYC for the second in March and my wife will there for five days from next Thursday, for the fifth time in seven years, with the same three workmates.

Glad to hear you had a nice visit with Destiny. When you go to NY, try to see the world trade center.. my daughter went and said it's incredible. Destiny - I've had that 'moon face' myself... most thought I had the mumps. oh those side effects ~
