Just an Observation

As a life long student of human behavior I frequently find my self looking for the patterns, trends.

I was restless and couldn't sleep last night but not really up to doing much so I took on a silly project to amuse myself - go through the recent attack blogs and look for patterns.

Political differences are the obvious common denominator BUT almost 95% of the hateful interchanges are started by men attacking women. In recent stuff I only found hateful, hurtful interchange initiated by a women. The ladies can certainly do a good job of defending themselves but men are the primary instigators.

I went back through my stuff. Lots of people disagreeing or presenting another side but the only insulting comments were from men.

Maybe things haven't really changed since grade school after all. Maybe it's just our animal selves showing through - but wait, in most other species males attack males.

...............And people ask why I am single by choice.

Not happy to agree, but I think it's true. Probably due to higher levels of testosterone.

Are you saying that the three blogs attacking me and using my username was instigated by me? Where in the hell do you get off? Or do those three particular blogs not count? You're nothing but a full fledged hypocrite attacking all the men here. Human behaviors azz.

Hi Spirit: I have the same observations. There are only one or two women who ingratiate themselves to these married male bullies and seem to delight in their hate-filled blogs and insults towards the women. There are a few nice married men on this site, but for the rest of the miserable married men here I think they should delete their profiles immediately and spend that time with their wives.

So many marriages these days have failed because the husband became involved with another woman he met via the internet. If I met a man through an internet dating group and we got married, I can't even imagine my husband staying on as a member here.

All those blogs I listed above are just an observation that really leads me to believe that the women here are not miss goody two shoe's.

There are many more comments by women here that I could list in full assault attack mode on men here, but it would take me a week to list them all.

Get your facts more straight on your biased out look on human behavior with some of the womens blogs and their comments around here.

This "study" of trends and patterns is absolutely meaningless unless you identify which blogs you are talking about. Also, do you fairly evaluate your female friend's comments as attacks or do you just look more for negativity from the males? How many attack blogs did you examine to come up with the 95% figure?

    I could easily post this:

"Political differences are the obvious common denominator BUT almost 95% of the hateful interchanges are started by women attacking men. In recent stuff I only found hateful, hurtful interchange initiated by a woman. The men can certainly do a good job of defending themselves but women are the primary instigators.

Do you see what I mean? Without some sort of reference only one thing is clear and that is that your "study" is no more valid than the imaginary one I just referenced.

    Fossil

You did ask a couple of good questions without attacking. Thank you.

I only looked at the last 3 - 4 days for general information but I did look at all of them. This is a specific interval of time but one in which there has been a lot of nastiness. A different time period would might reflect no meanness or nastiness what so ever with 0 in each column.

I went back a of weeks personal stuff since obviously there wasn't as much to go through.

Hardly scientific method - just some columns and hash marks to check off male or female. I doubt I could have used it for a project in my methods of research class.

As I said - just an observation I don't think any of the journals will be interested in publishing.

I also considered attributing it to testosterone but I believe that declines significantly after age 30 or so. Maybe an overdoese of Androgel?

I never considered married or single. Personally I met as many or more married men here than single ones. Most were either just friendly folks wanting to socialize - no other agenda. The others were looking for something else. I am not really aware if those involved in this observation are married or single but some how I doubt that marital status is a factor.

Waht you aid is true but unless I missed something it started with comments made on something they wrote. Like a snowball things grow. Perhaps the initial comments weren't intended the way they came across but things got a bit out of hand.

By the way I do like your hen house analogy. I have a scar in one eyebrow that came from disripting the hens when I was a kid. After that I just stayed iut of the hen nouse.

Don't worry - I'll take a sleeping pill tonight.

For me single works well.

I was married for over 20 years to a wonderful man who respected all people including women. I know a few now too. Now if they were available and willing they might change my mind.

Well, I'm confused. Here's a quote from a few lines of your blog:

"I only found hateful, hurtful interchange initiated by a women. The ladies can certainly do a good job of defending themselves but men are the primary instigators."

I'm assuming women in the first sentence means the plural of woman, therefore more than one woman. Then it says they were "intitiated by a women" (sic). Next sentence= "men are the primary instigators".
How can the women be the intiators and men be the instigators. Would this not be equally guilty????

Androgel is a good testosterone replacement BTW.

Good point. I wonder about some handles too - both make and female. Perhaps since handles allow people to be anything they want some are acting out their masculine or feminine sides.

Then it could b something like when I recently told a male friend that I had never read the owner's manual for my car. He said "You're a real guy, aren't you?" Another male friend once called me "Annie Oakley" becasue I defied his idea of what a woman should be. But - as several men on her can attest to I have all female parts.

I joined this site about 6 or so years ago so that I could chat to people, make new friends, to pass quiet evenings, and to have FUN.

I think that the vast majority joined for similar reasons.

I'm going back to having FUN, FUN, FUN!!!

10-4 on the androgel. It made a world of difference in my companion's energy levels and over all health. Expensive but if I were a man I would definitely use it.
