ME 'N' CAT AGAIN...Part 15.

Funny that, aint it, how Cat has reacted? I mean, I did expect cat to give out some spitting and hissing, with its one ear laid flat back and all its fur up on end. But it don’t, instead it does a skedaddle, hiding behind me chair, in some kind of shaking fit.

I suspects, in all honesty, Cat aint ever seen a live Rabbit before and so its like one of us coming across some bleedin’ monster as never seen before…Well, I would run, wouldn’t you?

It’s all quiet and I waits, then the rustling starts up from the box again and, once more, Cecil’s head pops up and it then hops right out of the box and I see its back leg start up the engine, back-kicking, till it takes off, lifting the back leg and begins to do its hand-stand running act, running past me chair and straight into the wall, where it lays, to all the world like its passed away.

Cat is watching the display and, seeing Cecil in this display of uncertainty, as to whether its living or not, Cat begins to creep forward, till it’s up to the Rabbit and taking a delicate sniff at the ‘Stiff’.

In my fascinated sitting, I see Cecil’s brown eye suddenly open and it has this little sad expression, that’s hard to explain, seeing as Cecil only has the one eye. But Cat gives a closer inspection and sits down, right next to Cecil, as if it recognizes a kindred spirit, seeing as they both has the one eyeball, even thought Cecil has the brown left one, while Cat has the yellow right one.

With that, Cecil suddenly gets up and begins to kick-start its body into a run, heading to the cardboard box and, hitting the side of the box, flops down, then hops into the box and all is quiet again.

Cat sits for a short while, its yellow eye staring at the box and waiting, then, with a certainty of invite, walks over to the box and, after peering over the top, springs itself into the box and lays beside Cecil, who is all snuggly-fit in warmth.

It would seem to me, as I’m in certainty it does to you, Cat has gone and found another lover… That’s according to the ‘Chirruping’ noises as is coming out from the cardboard box.

And I can tell you, this makes me quite happy, because me ‘Paternal Sympathetic Complex’ is at peace in itself and I gets a most warming sensation to me heart.

This sense of peace, inside me, gives me the need to wander out into me garden and breathe in the air and I looks up at the moon, like they reckons young lovers do, so I appreciates their natural feelings as I smiles to the sensation.

In this way, in this happy consequence, I makes me way back indoors and, with a last look at Cat and Cecil, in close comfort together in the cardboard box, I turns out the light, leaving Cat and Cecil to find out about each other’s tastes and excitements and make me weary and happy way up the stairs to bed.

Dreams are things which has an either/or consideration as to how you starts your day. I mean, a dream is part of the morning’s picture ‘cause it lingers in the mind as you try to get going. In this way, if you has had a good dream, you wakes with this smile, which has no reason to be there, seeing as you are into the hardship of living another day… But, if you has had a bad dream, even worse, a nightmare, then you have no wish for the memory of such to hassle your mind, through to midday as like.

I write in this manner, as to the effect of dreams because, I am in the special ‘Twilight Zone’ of a dream-happiness, in that it is realized that Gloria Pickles and me-self has noses to ‘Loves- Advantage’, that our noses are an everyday size and we are kissing with no obvious defect. And its just as we get to more amorous intention when I am woken by such savage screams and sense of affray that I comes to sudden consciousness, to find me body in a heap on the floor.

The noise now hits me, like the smell of a fall into a sewage dump, that it gasses me mind to a fit of another being murdered.
So, not only is me ‘Dream-Bubble’ burst, but I am aware now of me sense of fear, hearing the screams which are getting all the louder as I creep down the stairs.

Coming to the front room, I am amazed at the sight of what affixes me eyes because, there is Cecil, me one-eyed and three-legged Rabbit, involved in a fight with the striped ‘Killer’ cat, Tiger!

And while these two is beating seven bells out of each other and kicking up an awful fuss, Cat is stretched out on its back, atop of the table, like some sacrifice, in readied condition for the winner of the fight…

“Cat!” I screams… “You !”

A rabbit-Punch! You see how I did not think of that, Drew...lol.
I have yet to find out who will win but, whether Cecil or Tiger, Cat will get the best from him (It?)...
