ME .MYSELF. AND I

i was doing a mathematical review from my past.. E over I = R...
wondered what a 7200 volt power line would do if you hang on to it without being grounded ??
not sure if it would burn you inside and out ?? i wondered why AC is such a fast source of electricity ?? Did you ever hear power lines make a noise when AC is running through them ??
i thought about the sears tower in chicago and how much it sways.. you'd be surprised.. tried to do math on 750 cable
loss of DB's [signal] and i had to do a little research on this..
point made, DO WE HAVE ANYONE ON THIS SITE WHO HAS ANY IDEA
WHAT I'M TALKING ABOUT ???

Wilfreed, It appears to be Ohms law. I've taken electronics many years ago so don't remember all that I learned but that was my first thought. I have heard that people that live very close to powerlines hears odd sounds and often experience health issues. I would think that some people can actually hear current but I would imagine it would have to be very high pitched. I have watched on the Science or History channel when they have Linemen repairing live lines. They have to be very careful when they approach the lines. I would think the current would damage what ever part of your body it's passed through.

when they run a lot of voltage combined with current in small gauge wire you will hear a high pitch noise.. the big steel towers are about 100 feet high, [no worry on the very high voltage lines] because this is all regulated by are government and is safe to a extent !! i,ve heard this before that it can cause health problems.. i,m not sure of this.. to answer the question i asked you can ,with rubber gloves touch 7200 volt lines.. do not do this !! if you have no ground a person can work with [hot] power lines.. this is all taught to people in appentice school.. 4 years just like a university..you must no all about electricity.. and let me tell you it's very hard to learn..
i go one further ,you can weld natural gas when gas is going though the pipeline.. you weld the outside of the pipe.. my info is from linemen and the natural gas people.. i learn these things from the lineman themselves.. all i have to do is tell them i'm a member of our union !! also they no that someone with no knowledge would not no the questions i ask. One more point. in illinois a lineman makes 38
Dollars a hour !!
