Helping Listeria understand logical fallacies This is in direct response to LIsteria's poorly contrived argument regarding the First Amendment. The right of a person to free speech is sacrosanct so long as it does not impact on the standing of another person. When Maisie posted a blog calling another American a (" of a Bitch...SOB") she directly impacted the standing of another American. This slur, while not unusual for her and her husband Listeria, departs from her right to any disagreement she may have had with another citizen's freedom of speech. Maisie has no direct knowledge of the parentage of the person in question and for that reason her freedom of speech does not hold precedent over another citizen's freedom of speech. Sorry, Listeria, your argument falls flat both legally and logically. |

Nonsense. That is no more true than my calling her The Duchess of Dodge City and The Queen of Hyperbole affects her freedom of speech.
