My Apologies to Roseslady and Anyone Else Interested. I’m embarrassed to keep talking about this. Because I think it would be easy for me to fall into a trap of becoming a whining crybaby. But I think this installment should clear that up. As I look back on the postings as they progressed in Moot’s blog yesterday about men’s right to support abortion laws, I realize now that the person who I felt attacked me was probably telling the truth when she later said she didn’t mean her comments directed at me. The sequence of events and the comments that ensued, make it possible to interpret a lot of them in different ways. Also, tho I can’t say I know the person well, I don’t recall her ever being abusive to anyone in the past. These facts taken together have lead me to conclude that it’s only fair that I give her the benefit of the doubt, and trust her when she says she was not directing her comments at me. Anyhow, the person who I felt attacked me is Roseslady, and she is the person I have to apologize to. I might argue that she should have been clearer in her comments, but then I’d also have to admit that I may have become hypersensitive lately due to my efforts to try to inject more civility in the politically charged blogs. Going further, in my last comment on Moot’s initial blog thread, I called her some cruel names that I now must admit were very mean-spirited. That was hypocritical of me if I am supposedly trying to inject civility. My sincere apologies to Roseslady. My apologies also go to the rest of the bloggers on SFF, for bringing this topic up again. I only posted a new blog entry so I could feel sure my apology would get noticed by Roses and anyone else who was interested. GBU all, Gavin GREETINGS EARTHLINGS! I COME IN PEACE! I have been taken to task a number of times because people read something into my posts that I didn't mean. Before criticising someone for what you think they said, ask them for clarification.
