Nope, they will be to busy for a couple of days applauding their PM. The government has awarded 3 more Syrian torture victims $31 million in Federal compensation.
In October 2008, an inquiry led by former Supreme Court justice Frank Lacobucci found Canadian officials contributed to the torture of Abdullah Almaki, Ahmad El Matti and Muayyed Nuredden by sharing information with foreign agencies.

Canada is not supposed to share information with foreign agencies. PM Trudeau emphasized that there are consequences when ever the government fails to defend the rights of it's citizens. "Canada has made it very clear nobody ever deserves to the tortured."
Nuredden was held for 34 days in Syria in late 2003 and early 2004.

Syrians flee Syria come to Canada for a while go back to Syria, get tortured(?) come back to Canada and get millions of dollars. What a great country.

Yep Dinty but you omitted to mention that our PM also recently gave $10.5 Million to Omar Khadr, a former GTMO Bay prisoner who pleaded guilty to killing a U.S. soldier in Afghanistan... the problem is it's not ''his" money, it's ours, the taxpayers. Our country is so far in debt that unfortunately our children and grandchildren will be paying this down for years to come!!!!!!
