Down the memory lane!

A song for the one who has apparently left me!

As the feels of bygone times
Take you down the memory lane
Beautiful sights and Joyful Songs
In your mind remain.
Oh, come my friend
Come once again
Come into my soul
We shall share our love, joys and sorrows
And try best to console.

Here, we are in the last hour of the last day of the year 2016.
Just felt I should remember my friend who has left me for some reasons recently whom I always considered as a gift from the God.
I also felt that I must thank everyone of this site who had kept me alive talking to me and reading my blogs!
Live long and prosper but do not forget the lost ones, dear friends!

Thank you all so much and wish you all a Happy and Joyous New year.

I'm feeling a little more melancholy this New Year's Eve. I guess it is because we had made plans to spend it with friends (the first time we just didn't stay home for NYE) and due to some health issues, we had to cancel our plans. Very conflicted emotions about it. Sad to have cancelled out, but also relieved that we won't be hundreds of miles from home and have a health issue resurface.
Many good memories from 2016, and some not so good ones too. Best to hang on to the former and try to forget the latter. Also got the news last night that a long time neighbor had passed away. He wasn't a close friend, but our kids grew up and played together, and my condolences and prayers to them for their loss. It's just another reminder that our days are indeed numbered in this portion of life.
Wishing you all of God's blessings of health, happiness, and prosperity for the upcoming year, 2017.

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Ahhhh....... the wonderful memories I have of family and friends who have died!

I find this time of the year especially conducive to looking back.

The first morning of the year 2017 has dawned here and moving towards you to spread fragrance and freshness just as a new bloom does so I trust that you will feel well when the sun rises where you and Joe live now. Let us not now count the days, Mrs. Joe--Let us count seconds at our disposal and then we shall feel always good. I am sorry to learn about your neighbor. May he rest in peace.
God bless you and yours.

Boogie, you always make me happy when I read from you here or elsewhere as your posts contain meaningful comments on the subject that attracts your eyes. In my case, your comments that you left on my blogs from time to time, always enriched the articles in the past, sometimes, beyond my imagination. Thank you, Boogie, for reading my blogs and also for your responses.
I thank my creator for keeping me alive and active until now. I find no reason to disagree with the views that you have left here on the article. I may, however, take this opportunity to mention that sometimes past events could shape the future whether we like it or not. Let the year 2017 brings you joy and happiness throughout the year. Take care and stay cheerful.
