Artwork of a girl in her early teens!

When she was born, little could I imagine that God has send another girl to our family with an inborn capacity to draw or almost reproduce anything that she could imagine or view from time to time on a piece of paper when she was passing joyfully the fourth year of her life with us and was growing up.

It never occurred to me that my eldest granddaughter would be a born Artist like her aunt whose framed paintings she viewed hanging on the walls of our house where she lived with her parent during this period of time.

My did not like to be a professional artist. Instead, she preferred to study architecture at an Engineering University of repute and became a professional architect! However, her paintings could still be seen hanging on the walls of our house along with the artworks of her little niece who is now in her late teens!

I take this opportunity to upload here on my blog page one photo of my granddaughter’s recent paintings for you to view and comment on. You may feel free to let me know your views on the painting which could be either positive or negative! I shall be happy to read your comments!
Thanking you in anticipation.

It sure looks like you have another artist in your family. Perhaps this one will decide to use her talent and exhibit around the world. It would be good publicity for your country.

I bet your daughter's artistic talents come through in her work in architectural design....... and when she is older, and retired, she will still have that talent to use as a hobby.
Your grand daughter is also showing talent, and it will be interesting to see where it takes her in the coming years.
I have pictures that my oldest son had painted when he was in high school.... valuable to me for sure, but he never continued to use his talents.

Thanks Archer for your comments. I don't know whether she would like to exhibit her works in future around the world or not but I can tell you that she would not give up her artworks. Thanks again for letting me know your views on this piece of her painting. Stay well and Cheerful always.

Deborahsu....Thank you so much for your analytical comments on the painting done by my eldest grand daughter. I really feel proud for being her 'Grandpa' whenever I heard others praising her for her artworks! You are no exception. Thanks again. Take care and stay well.

TxJW2,
You seem to have given a wonderful suggestion that makes sense to me! I don't know whether I would survive another twenty years to ask her what she considers as most important to her in the picture though I would surely ask her about it today! I could guess what would be her response to my question but I must wait for her answer patiently!
Meantime, I must thank you for looking at the painting critically and letting me know your views. The vehicle in the picture is called 'Rickshaw' and the tires do not seem over-sized to me! I may be wrong because I come across many such "Cycle Rickshaw' each and every day! Maybe, I should put up a blog on the artworks that can be found on the back parts of this type of vehicles used here for transporting passengers as shown in the painting of my Grand Daughter.
Thanks again. Stay Happy and well.

Karin….. Thank you so much for your comments on the artwork of my grand daughter! You seem to have looked at the Work critically and she would feel encouraged reading the comments which I intend to show her. I can’t tell you about the materials she used while working on this particular piece but I could confirm that the vehicle shown in the painting is a 'cycle Rickshaw'. Next time, I intend to post some more of her 'artworks' for you all to view as asked by you. Meantime, take care and remain well and happy.

Hello Mrs. Joe,
To tell you truthfully, we did not know about our daughter's artistic talents until the drawing teacher of her school told her mother about it one day when she went to her school to pick her up. The teacher asked her to make available to my daughter materials needed to pursue the hobby or whatever we call it. Though she wanted to be an architect since her childhood, yet I believe she misses her artworks greatly! May be, she will again use her talent when she would retire as guessed by you.
My grand daughter would probably continue to pursue the hobby. She will appear in O level exam this year and intends to study Art and Design in an American Institution in due course! Her parents encourage her to be creative all the times!
I am sure your son will also use his artistic talent when he would retire from active job.
Thanks again for your thoughtful comments. Please stay cheerful always. Say hello to Mr. Joe on my behalf that looks wonderful beside you!

TxJW..... You have guessed correctly, my friend! The Rickshaw Van is the most dominating vehicle used in this part of the world for transporting Passengers for a short- haul. It could be most important to her even though she has never used it for traveling alone. Most of the time, she travels in family car. Yet, she sees it in large numbers on the street moving slowly toward its destination or parked on the "Rickshaw Stand", waiting for passengers!
Thanks again for showing interest on the artwork of my Grand daughter. Stay well and be safe on the road.

TxJw2,
I can not even imagine what would happen in another twenty years! She could be a designer or a writer or another diplomat in the family! She could even give up artworks! As she likes to play piano, she could be a world famous Pianist too. No more guessing. However, I can tell you that she does not do anything unknowingly!

Undoubtedly a born artist, if she can draw or paint from her imagination or viewing.
My granddaughter (13 now) has been taken classes and has made beautiful paintings but copying something she likes. She is not still in the level of her own creation. We all think she has talent. This year she has stopped taking classes because she's training Volley Ball, but she said will continue later.
We, grandparents, feel proud, don't we? Thanks for sharing, Looklook.

Hello Glumo,
Thank you so much for your comments. You are absolutely correct that we, grandparents, always feel proud for the achievements of our grand kids. I am sure that your grand daughter would prove herself one day as a great Volley Ball player as well as an Artist of great repute. Our Grand kids need our supports all the times when they grow up.
Wishing you all the best. Take Care and stay well and cheerful.

Thank you LookLook for posting your granddaughters piece of art. It seems to me a typical scene of your part of the world. Although we have rickshaws here in Vancouver but they are probably more modern looking than the one your granddaughter has depicted in her painting. Rickshaws in Vancouver are used during big events for transporting people from one area to another. My first introduction to them was in Hawaii in the mid 70's when I was treated to a ride in one.
You have a very talented granddaughter and has been passed down through your daughter. Do you paint or draw LookLook?

Shartaun....Thank you so much for your post telling me about the modern looking Rickshaws that are available in Vancouver. Rickshaws are extensively used for transporting passengers to short distances in this part of the world. Now days, authorities have banned the Rickshaws from the busy roads of the Metropolitan cities of this country including Dhaka where I live now. However, Rickshaws are allowed to ply on lanes and by-lanes of the cities. The painting depicts a scene of such a lane of this city.
No, Sharataun, I do neither draw nor paint though I like to visit museums to see the paintings. I like to read and write. But my son collects paintings. He simply buys the paintings that he likes. He also encourages her daughter to paint.

Take care and be safe on road always.
