Love to see what the Gruber Masters would come up with to replace the Constitution.

Well, I am not outraged.

I'm amused by the absurdity of it all. I'm amused by the absurdity, that it makes no point.

The things people people can think, and the things people can do, and the things people can complain about.

I'm grateful to know that YOU aren't the only one.

How can the Atheist believe the animals are blessed by a God when they(the Atheist) know there is no God. Do they really believe the animals understand and accept what is going on. If I were an Atheist I would just shake my head and say Hey religious person, it ain't gonna work. By the way, who does an Atheist thank on Thanksgiving for the blessings and mercies, why do they get the day off?
Good post Maisie, my chuckle for the day.

Atheism is a non-prophet organization.

Atheism is just an alternative belief system atheists wish to impose on others.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

How you can point out absurdity in others to make a useless point.
And not understand you do the same thing all the time.

So what are you saying here? That only those who think like you deserve to get the day off?......You sure live in a tiny, windowless box...

I'm starting to think Jiminy is on drugs.....I mean, how can someone share the world with others for as long as we have and be unaware that they are not communicating. If he has always expressed himself the way he does now, surely he has received lots of feedback that he isn't being understood.....

Yes you see.. you and maisie are not so different. You feed off of her and she feeds off of you.

I could care less about your games.

Maisie tried to make an inane point about an inane situation. Like we are suppose to learn something from it. When there is nothing to learn from it.

Taking what stupid people do, and then making it appear that we are all stupid.. doesn't do anything for me.

Now, She tries to do the same thing with YOU and with me.

Agree with her and you are not stupid, disagree and you are..

me, well, I don't think you're stupid, but that doesn't mean you can't say and do stupid things.

Maiise said I can't put things in simple terms for people to understand, because i don't understand it.. well, for once she right, I don't understand it... but what I mostly don't understand is how other people understand it ...in simple terms.

In my long life, I have frequently had the experience of not being understood. As a child, I had a stutter and couldn't roll my Rs........but I grew out of that and then it was because I couldn't speak English. I learned to speak English as well as any English speaker, but I over-learned so that my vocabulary was too advanced for my peers. I then learned, for the most part, to simplify my vocabulary so that those who eschew "big words" don't feel alienated.......I also have problems ordering complex thoughts into a structure that people who are not used to abstract concepts can understand.....That is a very big challenge for me and I choose my audience accordingly.........I have been participating in discussions of abstract concepts and philosophy for many decades....I have no problem understanding. I have given you the benefit of the doubt for years now and sometimes manage to eke out some meaning.....I have done my best to understand what you are attempting to express, never dismissing your attempts........But now I am done with it....You either don't want to communicate, are deliberately obfuscating, or else you are delusional in your belief that your words are sufficiently clear to communicate your ideas.......It's time for you to acknowledge that you are writing gibberish, that it is not understandable a lot of the time and that it's on you to either do something about it, or accept that the misunderstanding and lack of comprehension that your writing elicits is up to you to ameliorate....it is solely in your control, and if you want to communicate, you need to change your approach......Frankly I'm done with trying to understand what you say and then get scorned by you for my sincere efforts.

By the way, Jiminy..........I was thinking maybe you could benefit from a "Bullshit Grinder".....Just upload it into your brain and when you read other people's stuff and you start getting that BS feeling......the one where you know that the person who wrote it has their own huge pile of emotions, beliefs, experiences,
responses, preferences, prejudices etc.....that have been accumulating for a long time and instead of trying to understand it, you can just activate your Bull Shit Grinder and it will turn into a slurry that can be used to fertilize your flower beds........Works for me......my flowers are thriving.

Well, the idea of trying to see both side of an issues escapes you.

I seem to be caught in it....so we will never see eye to eye on what I express.

I have no doubt you have tried to understand, but you only put it in your context, not mine. Maisie has an easier time, because she knows it's not in her context. she just dismisses it.

The talk nowadays is about tribalism, and how that affects one's thinking.. Well this site is ENTIRELY about tribalism. I am against it... both your's and maisie's.
So be it.

I don't need agreement. Heck i don't even need understanding

Poor Lizst, believing that I pander to you.. that I'm after something.. he's such a thimblehead

This blog was an affront, specifically aimed at YOU. If you can't get that obvious point.. why should I expect you to get any of mine.

maisie thinks ...".He fancies himself a philosopher and a linguist of sorts."
well not a serious philosopher and sort of a cunning linguist! LOL
You folks.... need to get a life. This is just my entertaining myself..

Yes I'm confused and paralyzed...

Seriously I am.

Maisie, you can NEVER hit a nerve.. Nothing you say, can bother me...I already been through it all.. there nothing ever new here. Same old stuff, over and over again. So let me ask you... is okay that I am confused and paralyzed?
Is that okay, as long a I don't purposely lie.(which I don't, I'm actually incapable of it, because for me to lie, I actually have to care. which I don't)
The irony for me about this site.. is the only thing... I think about is not the subject, but other people's logic. As long as you are logical, not hypocritical, and without ulterior motives and purpose.. I don't care about what you think. I'll accept anything you think. For example if you are pro-life or pro-choice.. it doesn't matter to me. Just be logical and not hypocritical about it.
Does life begin a conception or at birth, take your choice... but there is no logical in between. I'll admit, I don't know the answer, and I am not willing to tell each person what the answer is. But my logic says it's one or the other. If you try to go in between, I'm going say something because it's either illogical or hypocritical.
What you will end up saying about my response is that i'm just confused.

I understand that this blog was specifically aimed at me....I read the first sentence that talks about "tenets of Atheism", which immediately alerted me that it was BS....These people know nothing about what the word "Atheist"means and they wallow in the pride of their ignorance.......I know this blog is just Maisie's latest sad attempt at dominance behaviour........So I put it in my Bullshit Grinder and added the resulting slurry to the compost bin.........

right and wrong at the same time.

Atheism is far more tolerant than religions are.

that is..... until some people try to make atheism a religion to itself.

Choosing one atheist to describe another atheist is just illogical, hypocritical, and purposeful.. with the intent to prejudice others.

You Right Wingers sure do love wallowing in your prideful ignorance. You often express that you think that your words are so clever that they go right over other people's head....That is really pathetic, patting yourself on the back for your own cleverness when in actual fact, your statement is so ignorant that we just give up....You and Bigblock.........two peas in a pod.
