I believe the rhetoric of the far left and the media is not helping the issues at all. They work up the hype, play on emotions, and try to use the words "assault weapon" to be synonymous with "assault rifle" which refers to a fully automatic "machine gun" type and that has been banned for decades. Actually, any object .... vehicle, knife, axe, hammer, skillet, etc. can be an assault weapon. It is time to use common sense (is it even common anymore) and do what we can to work on the issue of mass murders....... but far more are killed one or two at a time in our cities where young people are killing each other, and not with legal guns, but with guns that are passed around like drugs. (Oh, they are illegal too, and has that stopped them? ) There may be some legal steps to be taken, but I still believe it is more of a heart issue in our society...... where the value of human life is no longer respected. Look at the movies and video games that our young people feast on..... look at the deterioration of the family unit and the despair it causes the children..... the answer does not lay in the 2nd amendment, and the simplistic solution that many seem to believe. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Ever thought of getting a soap box and a megaphone and setting up in parks and Walmart parking lots?.........That way you would get to rant and squabble to your heart's content ..

Put up a graph showing percentage of gun owning households and gun homicides.
