Ordinary folk may have put Trump in the White-House, but Trump himself and many of those he appointed to White House posts are pompous millionaires who know nothing about the Real World.....

We didn't watch them..... but not for some of the reasons that others didn't. Have NEVER watched them.
I have never cared for the shows where millionaires pat each other on the back and parade their fashions around for the cameras. I didn't like shows like "Lifestyles of the Rich and Famous" and didn't read the Hollywood gossip rags. Their lifestyles were never important to me and I didn't hang on every word uttered by some movie star.
I had my favorite actors and favorite movies that they made, but that is what they are paid to do..... entertain. I don't even find some of the newer movies to do that. Maybe that is why I watch so many older movies and old TV reruns?
BTW, I wonder what would happen if Congress passed a law banning movies and video games that showed people being killed with the guns that they are wanting banned?

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

I don't watch the Oscars, the Emmys, or the Grammys. I don't know who anyone is, haven't listened to the radio in years, haven't been to a movie in decades, and don't want to. If they had an award show for writing I might watch it.

I'm not surprised you believe that, seeing as you believe many other things for which there is absolutely no evidence.

Nope, I have never claimed that......that's your own penchant for hyperbole..........Actually, when anyone makes an unsubstantiated claim, the burden of proof is on the one who makes the claim. "there is a God" , or there is "My God" is the claim....

I watched... it was a GREAT show, fast moving, funny, and heart-warming! Jimmy was a fantastic host - handled the awkward situation with class - didn't even try to ignore the elephant in the room! I didn't know who a quarter the people were, but they were obviously at the top of their game to be nominated. To those who snubbed the affair... I'm blowing you a raspberry! lol

I would no more get my political analysis from an awards show than I would from Fox News.
