I have often thought those points about a third candidate in a race like this..... and also those who do a write in. In many ways, they are simply throwing away their vote.
In listening a bit to both of these candidates, I actually found it difficult to chose on what little information I had. I do realize that regardless of the Democrat's personal feelings and policy hopes, he will have a snowballs chance in hell in maintaining or implementing them. Once a person is elected and gets among the others in the party, they either toe the mark, or nothing they want will ever see the light of day and there will be no support from the party for their election again.

Common now! Lamb didn't need to make it about Trump. Midterms ARE about the President. If as you say Lamb was successful because he "looked Republican" ... then why didn't the Republicans in Pennsylvania just vote for the Republican candidate!!??

This is without a doubt a slap in the face to Donald Trump

    Quoting  :

Speaking of campaigning against Trump, almost every political ad in our state mentions stopping Trump. Of course, this is NOT playing well downstate, which is red. But because we are controlled by Chicago and Springfield, we are considered a blue state.
I hope the Dems in our state get as tired of hearing that rhetoric as we do. Didn't they learn anything from the presidential election? "I'm not Trump" didn't work then, I hope it doesn't work now.
