Enjoying another little trip to TN, and not catching much TV news, but what we do see is exactly the panic that you describe. Of course, we are here in the midst of "Trump country" so we sure don't hear it out in public. Don't hear it at home either, but that too is a very conservative area. Meanwhile, the economy is growing and so is Trump's approval ratings, even with Democrats and minorities. Strange, isn't it? Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

JW, I may be wrong...... I am sometimes..... but you sound like the kind of Democrat my husband, Joe, was when we got married. One with good conservative values and common sense, like they used to have back a few decades ago before the party evolved into what it is today. Joe also clung to that label until a few years ago when it began to embrace extreme liberalism and socialism. Now, he considers himself just an independent American who will vote for the person he believes is best for the country, no matter what the party affiliation, the same as I have always been.
