Or as Mel Gibson so eloquently put it, at the end of Braveheart...........
"FREEDOM!!!!!!!!!"

Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Thanks that's a fascinating read Maisie, and yes its uncanny the similarity in both declarations. Did a Scotsman not start the US Navy?

There was a debate in the house of commons last night on Scotland's Claim of Right, a constitutional law passed in 1689 protecting the Scottish people as sovereign, 18 years before the act of union with England.

Since the Brexit vote, when Scotland's choice to remain in the EU was practically ignored, this ancient law has been brought up and basically saying the act of union has been compromised. A very disunited kingdom.

If I remember correctly the battle of Kings Mountain was won by Scottish hillbillys. They basically saved America. The British Major Patrick Ferguson was killed and the English troops surrendered. I think the patriots killed about 129? and lost only 3 but will happily stand corrected on these figures as I cant find the exact info on it.

Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.
