How true, Maisie. But way back then, and even in our country's more recent history, folks read the paper, or listened to the limited news programs on the radio or TV............ then, went about their lives, living in their neighborhoods, and if they discussed things with others, they didn't hate those others and attack them for having opposing views. Today? Well, we can all see the way some folks act today. As for the densifying, look how many outlandish blogs don't even get read very much and receive little and sometimes no responses. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

That's all well and good.......If you're not Black, Hispanic, Gay, Transgender Sick, undesireable... or think you own your own body... That's all well and good.. unless you want to get an education, become a citizen, buy a wedding cake, use the bathroom.. or you're sick and got some disease..Or maybe just pregnant.. And those that don't want some people to be able to swim.. because they want to protect their "gene" pool. In 1939.. a movie called Mr Smith goes to Washington...It worth it to watch it again.. It is obviously timeless.. One of the great lines....That took a shot at Fascism.....that certainly applies today.. about what a country can become..and how a democracy can make it that way... "if you haven't got men that have learned to tell human rights from a punch in the nose."

Conservatives at least have a childish belief in imaginary beings, a pre-approved devotion to non-factual, undetectable phenomena. At least Conservatives, being used to getting approval for devotion to imagined phenomena, have no problem with transferring that habitual way of thinking to their dear leader........He doesn't lie, poor dear, he "stumbles" in his speech.......

It's my agreement with your blog...has turned to identity politic...Ironic, I think. You take an agreed part and try to turn it into an agreed whole.. or a disagreed part and turn it into a disagreed whole....maisie... i don't disagree with the part..... I disagree with the whole.....You got to tell the whole story.. to have ageement or disagreement. I'm calling you on it.. that's all.. Certainly, I live in the Midwest, and I am a white AMERICAN.. Now.. I want to talk to you about grammar and understanding.....and your inability to understand the difference between an ADJECTIVE (like white) and a NOUN like American. When an adjective becomes a noun...It's defines identity politics. You and friends talk about my, grammar, my writing skills, and my use of words. to a certain extent I can accept that.. if that part wasn't tried to be turned into the whole I keep saying but you can't hear... I DO NOT USE IDENTITY POLITIC.....I use People Politics.... No separartion.. everybody's the same OF course I am AGAINST Trump....but unlike you, It's has nothing to do with Identity politics .. It has to do with people politics. the politics of people.. whether the adjective is Liberal or Conservative.. makes no difference to me..

Alternative ideas to what?........to your derision ?.......Do you sincerely believe that this or your previous blogs cogently express ideas that are worthy of considered discussion of alternative ideas?.....Example A......"and how much more forgiving they are. Using adjectives and turning them into nouns.. is exactly what identity politics is. White American as an adjective and noun describes a portion of American.. White American as a just a noun.. defines American..
