Lizst..
That wasn't so hard was it?

giving your blog some perspective, allowing readers to to make choices, instead of just choosing sides.

Anyway i enjoyed the read, for a change.

I agree.. This is a test for Alabamians not the country. if Moore is elected.. then it becomes a test for the country. Typically we make decisions, about people, before we actually know what their own decision is.
I still believe that Moore, didn't think he did anything wrong. He didn't r*pe these women. It may be one of the reasons they didn't step forward earlier.
The sexual deviant behavior, that people think of him... I'm not sure that's accurate in the "normal' sense. I still believe that Moore wasn't just looking at it from the perspective of sex, but from the perspective of marriage. He was looking for a wife.. which, by the way, he found.
I don't say that to defend Moore, To me, from my perspective, it's a lot worse.

Trying to put it all together... I come with my idea how everybody is telling the truth.

Roy Moore wasn't just looking for underage sex, in fact he may not have looking for sex at all....I believe he lives in the 1800's, and was looking for the right match.

To get the right match witha teenage girl, he first needed mama's permission. to get her acceptance of his point of view.. Second he needed to test the girl, for his dominance and her submission. He doesn't see this as wrong. His religion doesn't tell him it's wrong.

What we know about Roy Moore, and his actions. Is that his belief in his religion supersedes his belief in the law. It's obvious, because he says it, laws need to conform to HIS religious beliefs, and NOT his religious beliefs conform to the law.

Now, when it comes to most sexual deviants, it is illegal and immoral.
but Roy Moore is worst, when he goal is to make HIS "sexual deviancy" legal and moral.

Well it's a matter of perspective. If Roy Moore was just a religious fanatic from Alabama.. you be right.. but he's running for the United States Senate. Where our laws are made... his has no business in the Senate without respecting the laws we currently have. It's not about his screwing over fourteen year old girl...It's about screwing us all over.
For thirty years Roy Moore has been trying to CHANGE the laws in Alabama... He's fooled himself to believe he could..... if the Federal government didn't get in his way.. Now he's after the Federal government to change our laws, so he can change Alabama's laws.
It kind of amazing that he's spittin in the wind, and can spit in our face at the same time.

where I disagree is in the damage he can do.
the same damage he did in Alabama as Chief Justice.

the people of Alabama praising him for getting booted out.
Praised him for not holding up the laws of the land, for religious reasons.

Being a sexual deviant.... that in the name God he believes he isn't.

He promotes the freedom of religion......and fails to realize that ONLY means the freedom from religion. The only people who are not free to worship as the might, are not free because of different religion, even if that religion is atheism.

He has stated his goal.. to bring God to Washington, but it's only his God he wants to bring. His God.. that wants to allow underage marriages, gay illegals, women suppression, religious intolerance, and control over our lives. ... He wants to make his, God, the law of the land.
I have no doubt, his fight will bring out supporters... Will create a greater divide.
They will point fingers at the rest of Us for not allowing their FREEDOM OF RELIGION.
