As I started reading, I wasn't sure where you were going with it, and was thinking about the case you discussing. In those days, a 14 - 16 year old girl was not like those of today, and some of them were even married. But then, I found that was not the focus of the blog. As for Oprah, I agree with Star. I'm sure she is loving the publicity right now, but she is a shrewd, calculating business woman and would know the campaign would decimate her. For one thing, her association with Harvey Winestein would definitely be publicized, even more than it is now. Have you seen the disgusting picture of her licking his face or ear? It is said that she brought young talent to him...... does anyone really believe she had no idea what he was doing? She would also bring out thee Greek vote. They toast her all the time...OpA! OpA!  Two things about this blog. first, The Republican use to hint of a minority takeover of our government.. It serviced them during elections. Now it seems they are trying to the same thing with women... Second, this blog represent the Republican gender bias.......It seems to me, from a qualifications standpoint it would be hard to tell Oprah apart from Trump...Except for the fact, Oprah doesn't appear to going around grabbing male genitalia. It's seem what's good for Trump.. Is not good for Oprah,.... but it's still is good for a "goose"! Their hypocrisy is amazing. Also note the gay bias and gay innuendo in this blog... YUK

Just do a search for pictures of Oprah and Weinstein and you will find plenty. Even one of her introducing a young woman to him....... I've seen montages of pictures of him and her on face book, so they are out there. But, of course..... you already know how to search. LOL. Yes the Democrats are political and are stupid.. It has always been my "fear" about Democrats As soon as Republicans get away with something... democrats think they should get away with it too. It's hard for even principled people to understand about the ends justifying the means. Especially when the "ends" puts you on the short end of the stick. So the Democrats will most likely fall into the trap.. the trap of making sure THEY win... instead of WE win.

Dinty, although I don't feel qualified to respond to all of your questions ... I really had to respond to this one: "how did she get into that dress"... answer is simple: she had once again joined Weight Watchers plus haven't you heard of 'body shapers'? Yep, many women wear them apparently...not sure I would even attempt to LOL Have to admit that Oprah looked great, and in that picture she has her hand placed to emphasize her curves very effectively. Smiling here, Salsa. Is that what they call them now? When I first started wearing hose..... back before panty hose...... I hated those garter belts, so mom bought me "all in ones". Bra/girdle/garterbelt.......... sure helped hold everything in place but was a real pain to get totally undressed to go to the toilet! Don't think I would even try one today, not after years of letting it all hang out! Have to admit that Oprah looked great, and in that picture she has her hand placed to emphasize her curves very effectively. She is a beautiful woman on the outside.
