Oh no. I hate to hear this. When one "disappears" I always wonder if it is due to poor health or some medical event. But it is nice to know when someone is gone permanently from our midst. Thank you for sharing this information. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

OMG...what a shock. My sincerest sympathies go out to his family and friends. I noticed he hadn't posted on the blogs for a while. He will be missed in blog land.

I had noticed Ranger's absence lately and wondered if he was ok or just left chat. Sorry to hear about his passing. May God shelter him and let him know he will be missed down here. Thank you for letting us know the sad news.

OMG I didn't know he had been ill.... I am so sorry t hear this....thanks Tanz for letting us know. My sincere condolences to his family. May he RIP (Ranger)!

I didnt know he was sick, just thought he was taking a break. Thanks for sharing. I'll miss him. His blogs were interesting. Thanks for letting us know. Judgment Day will be interesting - and all paths lead there.

I always liked Ranger. We chatted a lot and shared emails as well. He had an interesting life. He was in the Coast Guard for some time. After his medical episode when he came in to chat, I could understand his posts maybe 80%, so I was shocked to hear of his passing, but I feared the worst when he did not answer one of my picture emails. He always replied promptly. I will always remember Ranger fondly. Good-bye my friend.

I was so shocked and saddened by the news of ranger's death. I loved chatting with him both in the chatroom and by e-mail. We had a few things in common that we loved to share. We were the same age, we both loved to cook, we had similarities in our personal lives. We hoped we could one day meet. Maybe we still will, but not here on earth. Rest in peace my dear friend...until then. This chatroom meant a whole lot to him. So many of us were his 'family' I fully realized this when I would sit here and watch him struggle with his posts after his stroke. I was sure that anyone with so much tenacity would surely get better! God bless and keep him. *sniff I'm also so very sorry to hear the news of Vec's passing. I've chatter with her for many years! I'm not sure just how long she was a member here at SFF, but I would venture to say it might have been almost or maybe even longer than I have. That's a lot of years! I surely will miss her presence here. Rest in peace g/f. Maybe ranger and vec will start their own chatroom...wherever they are. sighhhhhh always...and with love... PrairieSky

R.I.P. I am saddened to hear of both Ranger AND Vec. They will be missed. So sad!
