I hear you brother. I love it when it snows and I can get out there with my snowblower for two or three hours. This is a job that gives one satisfaction because you can see the result. I do my area and three or four neighbours as well.

Some years ago, I would have totally agreed with you and been right out too! Doing the outside chores was almost a game..... like pretending I lived back in the frontier days..... and I enjoyed it.
Today? I guess I am getting old because "playing" in the snow is no longer something I look forward to, in fact, I dread having to go out in it.
Enjoy it as long as you can!

I lived in Indiana for 30 years before moving to Georgia. In Indiana I saw lots of snow. I remember one day walking out to the car, my daughter went to the passenger side and said, Mom where did you go. I was laughing and said, I am under the car I had slid right under it. She came rushing around the car and helped me up.

It snowed one day for the first 3 years here in Georgia. I sat at the living room window and watched it come down. The next day each year, the snow was gone. The walk out front, the driveway, and the street were wet but not snow covered.

They are predicting snow of possibly 1 inch by Wednesday. I am glad I bought bread and milk today.

I would like to see what happens here with 26 or 29 inches in a day like we had in the Midwest.

These drivers cannot drive on dry roads. They tailgate big time. No lights at dusk or during rain, etc. Lots of them don't turn their lights on until it is almost completely dark, have dark cars or cars that blend in the road at dusk.

We just shake our head and call them "Georgia Drivers".
