Well, at least the Sapiosexuals won't be attracted to you......That must be a relief.

Right, Sapiosexuals which is a neologism. The use of neologisms is common in children, but is considered indicative of a brain damage or a thought disorder (like schizophrenia) when present in adults. Neologisms are newly coined words, terms or phrases that may be commonly used in every day life but have yet to be formally accepted as constituting mainstream language. Who would want a Sapiosexual schizophrenic attracted to them?

You got it wrong again. The word "neologism" means a newly constructed word........a new word.......The word "Sapiosexual" can be found in dictionaries and in common usage. Using the wrong meaning of a word in order to make a lame attempt at an insult just accentuates your own ignorance......though it apparently gives you points in the eyes of the other boors.

They are over no one's head, they are so far under their own heads that they become irrelevant. Dinty, apparently wasn't familiar with a word I used, so he looked it up in the dictionary, but he doesn't know how to use a dictionary. He then attempted to concoct what he thinks is a clever insult using the mistake and instead falls flat on his face.

Liszt, as usual, is so eager to participate in an insult, enthusiastically congratulated Dinty........then Bob came along, also excited about the opportunity to insult me,
added to the pile up of boorishness.....and then, of course, Fossil, the boor of all boors didn't want to be excluded.....

Nope.....I used a specific and familiar word that neither you or Dinty have encountered before and you placed the label "pretentious" on it to make you feel better about not knowing it. Dinty took no one but himself down a peg, because when he looked the word "Sapiosexual" up in the dictionary, it told him it was a neologism. Dinty was then faced with 2 meanings of the word "neologism". one in common usage and one referring to a term used in Psychology, that doesn't apply to my usage of the word. ......Dinty misused the word to concoct an insult, but tripped over his own ignorance and landed flat on his boorish face.......as usual.....as usual, he is Mr.Milquetoast.

Hummmmm, not in any of my Funk and Wagnall Dictionary's and not in my Concise Oxford Dictionary. Was not in any of my text books in Med School. I could not find it in the new Gay 15 letter acronym LGGBDTTTIQQAAPP, Demisexual was there though. The earliest instance of the expression of Sapiosexuals on the web was dated March 14 2002. Ergo Sapiosexual IS a neologism or a made up word combining two other words, new word or a new phrase.

Come to think of it, I am not familiar with half the words you use. You just make things up as you go along to make us think you are almost as clever as I is.

As for plagiarism, I prefer to call it compilation, compiling information into a form I can use to express a written picture. You got the picture?

It's only self-congratulation if one uses it in describing oneself. It is indeed a neologism in the sense that it's a new word.......I don't dispute that. Dinty, however,
based his pathetic attempt at an insult on the meaning of the word in it's use in Psychology. In that context, it is a term used to describe the use of made-up words by mostly Schizophrenics that are only known to that individual.

There is no spluttering on my part, I 'm just trying to explain to you something that should be obvious.....You're apparently exercising your penchant for projection again.

No Dinty......You obviously don't know how to read a dictionary. Sometimes words have more than one meaning. In the case of the word "neologism", the common usage is a new word.....I'm not disputing that "sapiosexual" is a relatively new term.........However, you misread the dictionary and didn't distinguish between the 2 meanings. If you had ever read a dictionary before, you will have understood that many words have more than one meaning, depending on circumstances.

Now, read carefully so I don't have to keep repeating myself. .....The word "neologism" means a new word....The general meaning is a newly minted word that is in general usage.......you can google "Sapiosexual" and get many hits.

You, however, used the second meaning of the word "neologism", which is a term used in Psychology to refer to nonsense words made up by children or Schizophrenics that are used only by them...........And from ignorance, you tried to concoct an insult.......Mr. Milquetoast strikes out again.
