Although some immigrants Anglicized their names, a great many were changed by immigration officials as these folks entered the country. I know of a family whose grand children back in the 70's had their sir name changed back to the original. Now it isn't an issue...... Garbine Muguruza Coco Vanderweghe Shual Peng Olgnieszka Radvanski Ekaterina Makarova Yulia Putintseva Varara lepchenko Destanee Aiava etc. btw: The above are all female tennis players.
