Perhaps the Democratic party heads want to embrace her so they can use her enthusiasm, but control her words????? Although I wonder if some of them already think the same way that she does? I heard an interviewer on the street talking to some young adults who think socialism sounds like a good thing, but when asked how those free things would get paid, they had very weak answers. One person said with taxes and that the government would pay. When reminded that the government has no money except from taxes it takes from people, there was no forthcoming answer. Another man said that folks would be happy to pay higher taxes to help other people. I wished the interviewer had asked him how much taxes he would be willing to pay, but he didn't ask. I do believe this push to the far left is alienating many Democrats.......... and I've also heard some say that they don't really believe this far left, socialist agenda is really the Democrat party. If people like this gal keep it up, they are going to have to admit that it is. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Well, if Trump hadn't given his billionaire buddies those huge tax-cuts, and didn't go to Florida every weekend with his entourage....or order a military parade.......there would be money for health-care and education. I personally know several who received nice sized bonuses, and who have more take home pay because of those tax cuts. Also, several who have gone to better jobs or gotten jobs because companies in our area are hiring. I can't speak for the benefits for the billionaires, because personally, I don't know any, but the wealthier folks in our areas that own businesses are sure hiring. There are "help wanted" ads in our papers and on the doors and marquees everywhere. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Your arguments are always based on personal anecdotes.......The fact remains that the new tax code favours the wealthy and large corporations and increases the number of Americans who can't afford health-care and/or medications. As for health care, our ERs still take care of anyone who walks in, regardless of insurance or not. After Obamacare become the law of the land, some of our doctors left their practices and turned to concierge medicine and take NO insurance at all. Many of the jobs in the area offer health care insurance. As for medications, there are also coupon programs through most pharmacies and/or Good Rx that helps to bring down the cost of medications, and there are still programs to help those who are truly in need. Thanks, Hank. But it isn't a matter of putting anyone in their place, I simply tried to explain how I feel and what is going on in my area of our country. Other peoples money, great topic Hypocrite Republicans seem to like Margaret Thatcher's wise statement “The problem with socialism is that you eventually run out of other peoples’ money.” Here's a thought .. The problem with Nation Building in Iraq during the Bush years was exactly the same … "you eventually run out of other peoples’ money.” YET NOT A PEEP out of Republican complainers as Bush squandered a trillion dollars of "other peoples' money" AND traded the lives of thousands of US Military Personal and got nothing for it. Obamacare sent people to the doctor ..
