"Mur der of a President" In an interview, the author of "Dark " said if you Google "Garfield" you get results of a cartoon cat. Well, I had no idea either. PBS "American Experience" has some good documentaries (I think). Their story of James Garfield is fascinating. Worth the time. Relevant. My takeaway? Even with the advances in Medicine and Technology, the human condition has not 'evolved' for the better at all. Even so there is more wealth spread out among the people than ever, lots of food. Lots of choices at the Big Box Stores. When it comes to Main Stream politics, MS religion, MS news media and MS education the bully and power greedy still rule the day. And sorry [not sorry], I don't see Pres Trump as the bully or power greedy, even if he has the tendencies |
