Your first statement sums it up pretty well. In the incident cited in Hank's blog, so many focused on the father's actions, but not on the reason behind it. A pervert attempted to molest his daughter, and nobody really has any idea of exactly how they would react. We each can say we would do such and such, but unless and until placed in the exact situation, and living life exactly as that father had, nobody could say they would do anything different because we are not him in that situation. I am a mother, and having suffered abuse during my childhood, I know I would definitely react differently than someone who has never had children might say they would react. But until someone walks in another person's shoes and is faced with a situation, they cannot truly know what they would do. Whatever the actions taken, people do have to accept the consequences of those actions. That pervert got the consequences of his actions...... the father will live with his. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

Exactly, and nobody knows what they would have done under the circumstances if they had grown up as he did and went through the things in his life that he did.
