Friendship.

Friendship.

Friendship is an ambience of atmosphere,
it is a definite sweetening of compromise,
it is affection’s laughter and saddened tear,
the dull routine and joy’s sudden surprise.

A friendship is natural to all the elements,
it is a Summer’s sun and a Winter’s snow,
and shared in all happiest party’s events,
it is wherever and whatever is life’s show.

Who would play the hermit and be alone,
to have no friends, who loses familiarity,
not constant to a sweet friendship grown,
or to have exchange, the know of intimacy.

Friendships are enjoyed, a sweet import,
a net of togetherness and sweetly caught.

Lovely poem Ron, and so very true

There's nothing like a good and loyal friend.
Thank you, Maudie; I bet you have some good friends. One or two best friends is enough, eh?

Good morning, Breda; lovely to see you, me ducks! How lucky you are, to live where you live; and to have those around you that you can call friends. Lucky gal!

Where would we be without our friends!

Because we choose our friends, they are often closer to us than our family members.... especially weird uncle Cyril...

Weird Uncle Cyril? Where did he come from?...lol. I have many siblings but, as you write, Rocket, I would sooner have my friends any day. Mind you, I'm much a loner and don't have close friends. Have a lovely day, wherever you are roaming.
