I disagree with the premise that schools have mocked morality. You might find that society as a whole develops morality in its own way, and we pick what works for us. Young folks rebelled against the morality expressed by their parents and authority figures, and what those people actually did. I think that most folks have their own view of what is moral. The trick is not to force your concept of morality on others.

It is refreshing to see an article that expresses so well what I feel. I recently saw a meme that basically told mothers that they are not just raising boys, they are raising someone's future husband and father. When parents fail to teach their children right from wrong, and personal responsibility, why should anyone be surprised when they choose the "feel good" even if it is wrong path. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.

You've made some VERY stupid assumptions. First of all...it's not unheard of for people to still be working at age 75, so TX's wife could easily be the same age as him. Secondly... teachers are often librarians as well as teaching...and couldn't she be semi-retired from teaching and be a librarian part time? And lastly...I wasn't aware that it is criminal or immoral for men to have younger wives. Good grief...your own president's wife is 25 years younger than he is... BUT I DON'T SEE YOU JUDGING HIM! Assumptions are not facts.

There are many great teachers, and so many of them are in our generation and retiring. Some of the stories coming out of our schools these days are truly scary, but it seems to be the younger breed of teachers. Be a prism, spreading God's light and love, not a mirror reflecting the world's hatred.
