Actually, Star is pretty liberal..... I don't know if I would label her as a leftist or not..... who defines the label? But she is also pretty fair minded. I don't believe all women any more than I believe all men, all Democrats, all Blacks, all Hispanics, or anyone else. i do believe Bob Woodward and Seymour Hersch. I'm half way through Hersch's auto biography. If you think Viet Nam was a mess you probably have no inkling what a mess it really was. Hersch did a lot of digging into what the government and the Pentagon was doing, covering up, and lying about it all. E.g. The government and the Pentagon claimed that the US was not targeting civilian targets in the North. That was patently untrue as their own documents showed.
